Driven by a vision to make profound difference in the lives of women, BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is embarking on a trail blazing course to provide unique opportunities of learning. Our endeavour is to provide an environment 
which encourages pursuit of knowledge, acquisition of skills, development of character and self- esteem, and recognition of rights and responsibilities. The objective is to open new vistas for eager learners and prepare them to effectively participate in the ever expanding opportunities in a globalized and highly dynamic world.
The University has set itself a frenetic pace. Committed to providing world-class infrastructure, we are in the process of setting up a state of the art campus on more than 500 acres of land replete with excellent facilities. Recognizing that teachers are the soul of the institution, we are transcending all barriers to attract top of the line faculty who bring with them excellence, dedication and creativity.
We desire to be unfettered by convention and thus seek to promote innovative and flexible approaches to learning. Conscious of the fact that women, notwithstanding their talent and desire, are many a time unable to uninterruptedly pursue education, the University aims to become a vibrant centre of continuing education. There shall be on offer something of value for everyone driven by a motivation to learn. Building capacity of women for economic empowerment, regardless of their previous education, age and social circumstances is a cherished goal. That is what would make this University a true catalyst of social change and harbinger of a new era creating splendid opportunities for well endowed women.
